The bold and beautiful lines from our Life Drawing exhibition has made October busy and vibrant. Thank You to our many exhibitiors – the exhibition is on till Thursday (29th) evening this week, so do not miss out if you have not been in:)

Welcome to our beautiful ‘NOVEMBER’ Exhibition:
Jellyfish are delighted to present ‘NOVEMBER’ by four incredible female artists: Sian Natasha Walton – installation/sculpture, Diana Collins – print/drawing, Lisa Evans – installation/writing, Kate Hyland – oil paintings.
An exhibition inspired by fairytales, the mother, womanhood and inner landscapes.
All welcome to the opening event on Saturday the 31st of October from 5-8pm – there will be live music and song by Simone Hellier acompanied by Rob on piano.
Nibbles on the house and cash bar – come along and do your trick and treating on the way:)

Meet the Artist – conversational cafe/bar with screening of Sian Natasha Walton’s 4min film ‘In my Hair’ –
All welcome on Saturday the 21st of November from 8-10pm for an open, informal evening with the artists and their art. Cash bar.
Jellyfish Community Youth Project – Film screening at Totnes Film Festival & St Lukes Church, Buckfastleigh.
The wonderful chilling, atmospheric “Rooted Spirits” made by 7 12-17 year olds is permanently on loop at Princetown Visitor Centre – open daily from 11am-5pm.
“Rooted Spirits” is being screened at TTT festival, Totnes on the 15th of November at 11am – for tickets and more information, please go to:
You are also invited to come and see the film and meet the young film makers for a q&a in St Lukes Church on Saturday the 5th of December from 6-8pm. There will be refreshments and raffle – all proceeds supports more art workshops for young people:)
All support for this project is welcome and Nathilde aim to run a new Film Making Course from January as well as another summer course next summer. We hope to also run workshops in other art forms again next summer!

Life drawing session
Our next Life Drawing session is on Tuesday the 17th of November from 7.30 – 9.30pm with a male model. These sessions are with model only, so please bring your own materials. We are open for bookings for the next two sessions till Christmas (two sessions £14 per person).
The sessions are on : 17th of November and 15th of December.

With our ‘NOVEMBER’ exhibition on we have chosen the perfect film to see and talk about this month:
“The Hunt” by Thomas Winterberg. (2012, running time 115 min)
A teacher lives a lonely life, all the while struggling over his son’s custody. His life slowly gets better as he finds love and receives good news from his son, but his new luck is about to be brutally shattered by an innocent little lie.
Entry £3 – bar open and there will be an intro at 7.20pm. You are most welcome to stay for discussion after the film:)

Over the course of a lifetime our needs change. The breadth and depth of yoga practices available to us means that yoga remains a lifelong practice. Research shows that in the long term yoga is more effective than other therapies in helping to maintain physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. With 25 years of teaching experience as a qualified yoga teacher and therapist and many years more of my own yoga practice, I aim to support each person as they explore yoga as a way of meeting their ever changing, individual needs.

Agata Krajewska is a facilitator and Bodymind Therapist inspired by long term study of “Movement of Being”. She has been holding groups on presence, embodiment and the deep feminine for years. She explores these themes in writing and performance and supports others in their creative expression.

Jellyfish Cafe/Bar and Gallery
is open from 12-6pm Tues-Fri and From 4-8pm on Saturdays (or by appointment).
We sell organic espresso coffee and hot choc & tea from local producer Owens Coffee. Soft drinks from local producer Luscombe Drinks and delicious biodynamic cordials from Derek Lapworth, Buckfastleigh.
We also sell Roots vegetable crisps and home made spelt flour waffles cooked fresh on the spot 🙂
Lisa Beale from Cake Creations Devon is providing us with delicious homemade cakes weekly.
Jellyfish cafe/bar is fully licensed and have Luscombe Cider, Jale Ale, lager, prosecco, white & red wine on the menu.
