Nathilde was born and grew up in Tromsø, Norway, and began her career with drama studies in Italy. After a year of art school in England, where she specialised in Photography, she began a five-year film education at the National Polish Film School in Lodz.

Her films include: “54 Sorrow Street, Lodz” Documentary of a woman in jail who kills her husband, but remarries again in jail. Made and produced for Polish TV1.

“Rachel`s Wire” Fiction about an 8 year old girl, experiencing an erotic passion for the first time in her life. “Rachel`s Wire” won 2 prizes in Donne in Corto, Italy. Best Film, Best Director.

“Celibacy” A docu – portrait of a man in Copenhagen, living in celibacy, and during the filming falls in love. (Produced for TV).

Her freshman film ”Wasteland” won a prize at Arnhem Film Festival, Holland. During her studies she acted in the short film ”Mother” for a Korean director, and won the Best Female Lead award at a festival in Seoul.

Her diploma film ”Tidewater” won the Golden Chair-award at the short film festival in Grimstad, Norway, and a number of other awards.

”Amertume”, her sexy film noir, had theatrical release and screened at the Venice Film Festival, receiving Honourable Mention.

Nathilde’s acclaimed feature film “Lime” had theatrical release and was shown at Singapore and Cannes Film Festivals, the affecting and visually arresting tale of a young woman’s coming of age.

Nathilde has been teaching “Directing actors” at London Film Academy, “Mis-en-Scene” in Film Schools around the world, she has developed several feature films and has been Co-Director of Mandrake Films Ltd, London, www.mandrakefilms.co.uk. She ran her own production company based in London and Norway and wrote a promising feature film screenplay “Symphony”, collaborating with 6 wellknown music teams from Tromsø, Norway.

Nathilde moved to Buckfastleigh, Devon spring 2013 to set up Jellyfish Productions and build Jellyfish Studio/Gallery.
